I’ve been going to race meetings all my life, my Dad has been racing on the oval circuit in Brisca FII for years. We had a break from racing a few years back and did a lot of water skiing, wake boarding and knee boarding. I still wake board and ski when I can. I also enjoy snow skiing.
I started racing in September 2005 in a Vauxhall Nova in the junior rod series on the oval circuits. Trouble was, I always ended up crashing it, so Dad got fed up and put me in the Ministox, this is great fun and plenty of contact.
We had planned to join the Saxmax in 2007 but Henry King “Gobby” ex Saxmax number 7 decided to sell his car early and we bought it and joined Saxmax this year 2006. I had to wait until Pembrey because I was not fourteen until June 2006.
I would love to be able to take racing to the next level and make a career out of it, but we’ll see.
